Transfer Cubase files from PC to Mac??

Anybody got any ideas on how to transfer cubase 5 files on a PC to a mac running cubase six? I just switched over to mac and want to transfer some old files to the new compy. I was thinking I'd have to export the old wave files (not project files) to DVD and then import them into the mac. Just wonde...

Just got my SSL Alpha Link back from Black Lion Audio. Mine was the very first upgrade/mod of this converter set. I'm quite happy with it and BLA. Just got a Universal Audio 7-410D. Nice. And a royer R101. And a Manley VoxBox. And a pair of 4038s. And a Peluso P12. And a China guitarjo. Guess I have...

Understand. I'm not running a business. And the name of your insurance company? Just wondering if there are good companies that deal with this specifically so I can call them. Otherwise Ill get a rider from my home owners insurance. Anybody been happy with a certain insurers service?

Small studio insurence

Just wondering if anybody might have any recommendations for studio insurence. I'm moving my project studio from my home into the basement of another business. I've got basically just gear. I don't need to insure the building or the space, or my time, just my gear. The dollar value of the gear excee...

The BLA upgrades are pricey. But when you see what you get as far as choice audiophile caps, separate power supply for the signal path, better quieter op amps...well, a lot of people go with the upgrades and are very happy and notice a big difference. What was that nice converter anyhoo?

I was gonna get a Daking MP IV but when I read the review in this months tapeop I went and bought a 4-710 instead because I thought it would do more (compression on each ch. and an output level control so you can distort the channel while keeping the output at a safe level). There are two 12AX7s so ...

When I said "clean the old speaker" I meant wipe it down thuroughly with damp and dry reags. Wax on wax off until it's as good as you can get it. Oh, and, according to many an amp tech, filter caps should be replaced every ten years or so. Especially if the amp hasn't been played very much. Take it ...

Yeah, don't spray it out. And don't clean an old speaker with bleach. Replace it with a nice speaker of the brand/type that you like or would like to try out. Clean and save the old one. You could re-tolex and re-grill cloth it yourself. Or you could do what I did and have fliptops.com make you a hi...

GT 66 resonator removal?

I've heard of people removing the resonator ring from GT 66s. Can anybody describe how its done and what to look for when doing so.
I've got mine apart, but am not sure what to do next.
Thanks for any input.

Oh jeez. You just have to turn the side chain on and then it will show as a routing destination in the sends list along with groups, FX, outputs, etc.
Duh. Thanks for helping instead of making fun.

I'm guessing I should get a compressor that has an external side chain. Not a feature that comes with stock plugs. Any cost effective suggestions?
