That reminds me, I need a new belt and a way to fix the record button my 3 year old broke off. still can hit the actuator...but buttons are nice.

My recomend is to avoid cheap ribbons unless you have the tools, patience, and skill to re-tension the ribbon. It's challenging. just spend the extra hundred and pic up a mic from Cascade I've come to the same conclusion. I got a Fathead II last week nice. I need to squeeze one in to my budget soon.

I had one for a while. Never actually used it because it came with a messed up ribbon element. Bought it on a whim when it was $60 and didn't even open the box until it was too late to return. :roll: Well, I don't do that anymore, though I do still buy cheap stuff on a whim, occasionally. Same here...
