What software are you using? If you're using ProTools, enable the "ALL" group, and drag the volume envelope down from a point after the end of the song. That should take all the volumes down evenly, automation points and all. I don't really get what the volume envelope you speak of is? This sounds ...

Need help setting levels in the mix

Alright so I am trying to get all this stuff to fit into a peak of -3.0 DB. I keep going over it in some spots though and I have a LOT of tracks so it's a bitch to keep redoing all of it. What I was trying to do was just set them all and then group them all and drag them down a little bit to make it...

it is on DI. It works like I can hear the guitar fine and it sounds like it should sound theres just a lot of unwanted noise in it I think from having to crank the mic pre so much but it doesnt pick it up unless its cranked for some reason.

so much noise on mbox

I am recording my guitar through the mbox and I have to have the mic pre cranked pretty darn high, almost as high as it goes for it to be at a good level, but its getting so much noise. I gotta through on a LPF at 2.5k to get rid of it but then it makes it not sound as good. Any tips?

The 2 I worked on are "Let's Get It' and "Walk Like Ah Model". I didn't do the beats for either, I eq'd them though, and more so the lets get it one, and it sounds a loooottttt better. It had a lot of high end and the bass didnt really come out. Not that hard of work though but at least I did someth...

It works a lot of the time if you delete the Dverb and ReWire plugins. That did it for me a least and a lot of others.
