Serious answers: Equipment Racks . It's absurd to me that even a cheap rack is often close to $100 or more; we're talking about a few pieces of particleboard, but because it's a "specialty" item, it carries a specialty price. There's no reason that an 8- or 12-space basic particleboard rack should ...

4060 - about $550 ditto - about $200 2480...depends on the options. if it is the cd-r model, with the single stereo effects card about $1000-1200. It goes up if it is the dvd model (add $100-150) or has more than 1 effects card (add $150 for each extra VS8F-2 card and $250 for each extra VS8f-3 card...

I think any right-handed Gibson lover should be damn concerned about this. What does it say about Gibson, as a company? I posted this in another forum, but think about it. It's 2007 and they're getting rid of lefties? That's even worse than having never made lefties at all. They have a lefty markup...

STOLEN GEAR - Minneapolis / St. Paul
My storage unit was broken into. Aside from stealing laundry detergent - (how weird is that?) - I had some gear stolen as well. Soundcraft Spirit M-8 Mixer SN#RW5632US050145 It was in a Kaces model KEB 2034 bag. (Large and grey) If you are in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis / St. Paul) and you see this...

OTOH, if you want the instruments to sound well-miced (particularly the drums), AND you want everything to be loopable, you'll probably need a mixer to plug all possible channels into (either miced or direct), and then just control which instrument(s) you send into the looper through the mixer. Ind...

It won't make any difference at all. other than reversing the polarity. But it gets reversed back again on the way to the next piece of equipment. The polarity is only reversed inside the 501, where it won't make any difference. [edit]That's what Mark just said, I didn't read the whole thread befor...

It won't make any difference at all. other than reversing the polarity. i'd address it since you are wiring it up anyhow. it's not anymore work. pick one end of the cable, either the xlr end or the end at the bay, and reverse pin 3 and 2. but not both ends, that would accomplish nothing. it really ...

Mr. Daniels... I have to say that I find it rather appalling that you would trade on the Moses' good name, now that he is gone. You've done it before, you'll do it again, and you will never have the decency to feel shame for your actions. BTW...Do you have a schematic for the direct exit mods? And c...

the portable player thing can be a tail chaser. i mean, at the highest end, one could just drop the $2400 and pick up a Sound Devices 722 and have their music at 24 bit 192k... i read the reviews, checked features, yadda yadda. i bought an ipod. i loaded it up with my music, using aac. it sounds fin...
