Or did you want a prebuilt cable? If so, do you want the mic to run hi-z or lo-z?

Naiant has inline pads that are pretty inexpensive.

Dual mic pre, combination tube/solid state (ECC83 & SSM2017). Sounds great, in very nice condition with just a little bit of rack rash.

USA made Shure 545D in very nice cosmetic and working condition. Has XLR instead of the expensive Amphenol 4-pin connector. Like a 57, only better.

Does the 38 fast forward & rewind? If it just stops in Play & Record, you likely have a problem with the capstan motor or with the electronics controlling it. This is very common on 38's.

www.acksupply.com says they have the 40362. I'm not sure what Ack's min. order is, but I'm sure they have one.

On the desoldering front: Radio Shack has a desoldering iron that is actually a handy tool & quite cheap.
And you will find that there are times you need a solder sucker. I recommend avoiding cheapo Radio Shack stuff & go for the Soldapullt.

Yamaha D1500 Digital Delay. Works perfectly. Has a wee bit of rack rash but overall is in very nice cosmetic condition. SOLD
