Re: How Do You Run a Band?
I have to agree with other posters - stand up, assert yourself. If they don't dig it, you either submit or you leave. I was in a band that had lots of potential, but the core of the band had worked with a singer that was a complete dictator, and drove everybody nuts. So they quit and set up a differ...

Re: poll: what do you do?
my day job is as a receptionist for a social service organization in Minneapolis, dealing with employment programs and refugee resettlement. so I get to try to explain to people who speak 3 words of english that their case worker is out at lunch, and won't be back for an hour. "no here?" "not here. ...

Re: what is a plugin?
I think they use TDM plugins, a different style.

Re: What guitar rocks your recording world?
oh man, where the hell did you get an ovation deacon? I looked for one for years, and couldn't find one. Then I moved to Minneapolis and found one in about 2 weeks, mint and stock with mint hardcase... dirt cheap. Then I found a 1969 Univox Dan Armstrong copy lucite guitar, mint, for about 1/3 the ...

Re: Do you have PERFECT PITCH?

Re: What guitar rocks your recording world?
right now...
for anything distorted, my 90 Gibson SG Special, with the Seymour Duncan in the bridge.
for clean electric, an Ibanez Talman.
for totally burnt stoner-rock, an Ovation Deacon with stock pickups.
and for acoustic, an Ovation Celebrity, 'cause it's what I got...
