......but wouldn't the quality of the transformer / powersupply really be the issue here? Maybe there are measurable differences in these cables, but by human ears? there has to be a definitive answer to all this, why do so many people swear that it's true? is it the same reason that i believe that ...

i know this topic has probably been beat to death, however, has anybody here ever noticed one power cable sounding better than another? outside of obvious defects of course. i was messing around on a few "audiophile" sites, and alot of these people seemed convinced that there are sonic differences. ...

unfortunately, i left mine out on a corner in front of cicero's basement bar in st. louis in 1989. after the gig, (and about 30 beers :oops: ) i had decided that it was just way too heavy to be dragging around anymore. i regret that decision to this day. it would make a great studio amp. the phaser ...

once again, i think wendy is on to something. those recordings sound fine. good representation of the songs. in fact, i believe it gives me a great idea of what they sound like live. i totally agree that this type of music sounds a bit better to tape, but you said yourself that the band cannot affor...
