For most things valued over $60, the duty is your regular sales tax (here in NB it's 14%, I forget how much it is in Quebec) plus brokerage, which your courier charges for importing your package. USPS only charges $5, but UPS or FedEx could charge you as much as the item itself is worth. Items value...

EHX Double Muff. Really cheap to buy ($60 new), awesome razor-bladey tone, no loss of low end.

UPDATE: I did some tinkering to my RSM-4. I removed the inner layers of mesh and re-tensioned the ribbon, per the RSM-3 thread on this board. Removing the mesh didn't make much of a difference, but re-tensioning the ribbon certainly did. The mic is now usable--before the highs were distorted and the...

Re: leslie speaker and lowrey organ. How do i separate?

plug that looks a lot like the bottom of a 6L6 tube Sounds like a typical Leslie setup wherein the power amp is built into the speaker cab. In which case, the most elegant setup would be to get a "Combo Preamp" that will work with your particular model of Leslie, which is a preamp plus power supply...

Yes, ReWire lets you pipe MIDI into Reason and pipe audio out. The Abbey Road keyboards do look pretty cool. Finally some pianos samples that aren't super-clean grands!
