great jazz guitarist on ECM for many years. scofield posted a touching note on facebook that john was "the nicest guy you could ever meet, when i first moved to the big city he helped me out and guided me without pre-tense". sounded like a real honest dude.

is the mega board the "new posts" link that used to be in the top right corner? where you could click it and any new post since you'd last been on would appear? New posts is still there. one further note, pretty much any House of Blues will work. Hmm I've never heard of Zonal, but if I had a need for more tape I'd take a swing at it. doing more research apparently the company went through a couple iterations. Well the 930 looks like LPR35, so probably appropriate for 388 use...a few bucks cheaper too. I have to assume that this is just white labeled from someone else, probably Pyral/Mulann, as you suggested. I would be surprised if it's a special formula made for them, regardless of what their marketing...
