looked and sounded good. something with the hi-hat or snare (i couldn't figure it out) sounded off but i think it was the musicians drum/cymbal and not a mic/phase issue.

Well the 930 looks like LPR35, so probably appropriate for 388 use...a few bucks cheaper too. I have to assume that this is just white labeled from someone else, probably Pyral/Mulann, as you suggested. I would be surprised if it's a special formula made for them, regardless of what their marketing...
