Need help choosing a mic

First off: I'm broke.

Now that that's out of the way I'm needing a sub $200 kick mic (used). I've scowered the board UTFSF-ing. I need it for live recording situations.

D112? Beta 52? Audix whatever?

I need some recomendations.

Thanks

It seems like the RIAA is trying to recoup "losses" by engaging in some sort of side business built on litigation scare tactics. They don't feel bad because music sharing is technically illegal, but the idea that they are trying to help the artists, musicians and songwriters is a pile of poo. Just s...

Just got mine. Sounds great if you can ignore the horrible amounts of hum. I guess the quality control is not up to par. Which is odd considering how much time they spend on their website chest-thumping about their quality control... One of mine has the + and - wired in reverse so I have to ...

Ok, here my review so far. I set up an Oktava MK012 (cardioid) and a Taksatr PCM 6100 side by side and recorded some acoustic guitar both strumming and picking at a couple different distances. I used a Focusrite Octopre for my mic pres. I invited a few people who happened to be around to come and A/...

Yeah, they go between $9.95 and 14.95, but with S&H they all come out to about $25.
