ah, I assumed the pre-amps would be the same, I see that they are not. But I was thinking you would use the direct out on the channels into your 828 and not use the USB at all. Seems to me, despite many people doing this, that uniting your mixer and convertors into one device is so limiting..... But...

What about keep the 828 and get a ZED-420?

make sure your 2gbs are not broken down into 2 slots, other wise buying another gig won't help, you won't have room for it. You probably need a 2 gig card....

It seems kind of hard to find these things online.... I can't remember where I got mine, but MF does not seem to carry them. Anybody have a source?

I bought the boss vibrato copy and it is a great pedal. The boss pedal is super hard to find and very expensive. $29 for a great unique sound. Don't think I would gig with the thing though, pretty cheaply made.
