Priming windows for audio

Mac Book Pro and Windows?
I know this is true, but is it up and running yet? And is it worth getting a Mac Book Pro and putting windows on it? Or is it going to run the same as a normal laptop running Windows? I have my reasons for wanting to do this.

Thanks man I never thought about the warrenty issue. I've built one before but it didn't do what I wanted. the track count was low, and processing effects was a bit of a task for that machine I think due to the chip set, but I'm pretty novice at this stuff. Tracks Ram or Proccesor
I am having problems with being able to play 16 uneffected tracks at a time without system hicups. My system is running at 1.33 ghz and 960 mb of ram there is nothing on it but tracktion, windows, and plug ins. Can anyone help me resovle this awful problem?

My room is set up great for mixing. We spent a month setting it up with an acoustics guy and we tested with his monitors. I don't have alot of cash but something that won't heart my ears would be great.
