That was one of the first few pairs I racked and it lived in my studio for almost a year before I sold it. I used it all over an RPM challenge record. It's one of two that I did with a laser-engraved front panel. A friend of mine has the other. Kinda wish I still had it, but I'm not recording a whol...

To set it to 100% wet, do I turn the aux gain all the way up and leave the aux master fader in the shaded area? No, 100% wet on your outboard effect. As in no unaffected signal being passed through the outboard gear. Most reverbs have a "blend" control, though it's sometimes referred to as "dry/wet...

Ok, thanks. So, another question. On my mixer there is no way to control the aux return signal (no volume knob). The aux return input requires a line level signal. So, I have to control the aux return from the device I'm using. That said, I thought a line level signal was pretty strong. How come it...

Maybe the black/pink need to be switched around? Won't matter. It will just flip the polarity. You would still get signal regardless of their position. In your picture, it seems that the exposed copper wire (transformer ground) may be touching the green terminal, a the lower part. Those should not ...

6SN7 and 5U4 tubes
I've got a huge lot (35) of vintage Sylvania 6SN7 GTA tubes. Chrome top, green printing on the black base. They were pulled from a Baldwin organ tone generator. They're all the same date code (L2B), but I have no idea what date it represents. I would guess the early 60s based on the codes from some ...
