Topic: Hearing better in one ear than the other?

I was taught a long time ago that a musician's left ear hears better than the right since listening to music is a right brain thing. My high school music teacher said to always tune with your left ear. Could be bs.
I hear equally crappy out of both.

I know we're talking recording stuff here, but road cases are on my never buy new list. They're so freaking expensive new and end up looking beat to hell anyway, all while doing the same exact job as a used one.

I use a large ziploc bag and keep them in the desk drawer. Hanging them seems to be a pain in the ass for me just because my wall space is so used up. Of course, my desk space is getting used up as well.

It looks like my link to the transformer dip article is kaput. I found it again using the way back machine, though. I don't know if PlastiDip is conductive or not. If it is, I can see that being a problem. I haven't had time to try dipping them in varnish, yet. Part of the job requires dedicating an...

What Altec is it? I would use the 600 ohm out if you're going into a recorder or d/a converter. On a lot of Altec gear you'd be using terminals 1 and 4 for that, and strapping terminals 2 and 3 together. There's a cool little connector that came with old Altecs that I bet you'll never find if it doe...

Thanks guys! That's what I suspected. I've got my eyes on this kit: https://taweber.powweb.com/store/kits_weber.htm#loadline Thoughts on that? If I did decide to built it from scratch, do I just solder the output of the power resistor(s) to the enclosure? Or would it be better the wire them to the ...

Re: "Transform your audio with Transformers"

Hey, thanks for the link to that other thread. That answers a lot of questions I was going to have about this. There's three questions I still have about this that I think are worth asking here though: 1) CAN I BLOW MY SHIT UP TRYING THIS? I don't have a lot of what people in this thread would cons...
