Just finished recording the cd. New songs are on myspace
Made with a Digi 002/Digimax setup. Mics were SM57s, Beta52 and a pair of AT3050s.
Guitars are mostly a 6120 through a silverface deluxe reverb. There's also some tele and dot in here as well as some jcm 800 and bf bassman.
enjoy!

Most badass drummer evarrrr
See-- it's not about what you play, but how you play it!

FT: 4ohm Hotplate
Anybody want to trade for a 4 ohm hotplate? Ideally I'd take an 8 ohm hotplate or an early '80s rat.

Reading Music - Counting Note Values
Not sure if this is the best area for this, so move this thread if you need to. I'm learning to read music (after 17 years of guitar playing). I have a question about counting a note's rhythmic value: Is it better, in the long run, to count them as the beat they fall on or their absolute value? Woul...

Ahh Web Design. There are so many people that can make a site for you. But, just like recording, if you want a good one, it will cost some money. Just like you wouldn't want your neighbor's brother's nephew to record your band, you might not want him to build your site either. Web Designers and Engi...

I, myself, wouldn't buy any new marshall, reissue or otherwise. I don't think it will have the durability in the long run. Any amps tech out there might chime in and say they're hard to repair with all those PCB mounted parts. If you've got $2K to spend on an amp, get the real deal. For JCM 800s, th...

I really do like them, but they are the first "real" monitors I've owned. They have plenty of bass, and improved my mixes by a mile. They also have very strong, um, panning imaging (not sure if that's the term). For example, if you pan something 50% left, it actually sounds like there's another spea...

After a lot of experimenting, I have found that how much boost you will get depends on how much amp gain you are running. If the preamp section is pretty much saturated, another 20DB of signal isn't going to add anything but more clipping. So, if your gain is cranked up to 10, and you step on a boos...
