Check the serial number at the Fender Amp Field Guide, that's a great resource. I'd also get the serial numbers off the transformers and date them as well. Between that and the cosmetic differences between different years, you should be able to get it.

On the Paul McCartney Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road DVD, it looks like they've just used a U67/87 a bit back and slightly above the instrument.

The little epiphone valve jr. sounds pretty good. Had a champ, another great amp, though I'd probably build one if I wanted another.

I miss mine...I had a '68 or '69 a few years ago. One of the stupidest things I ever did was get rid of it.

I know when I worked at GC, our store went from haing to hold gear for awhile to being able to sell right away. From what I understood, the hold in our store was due to a local law regarding pawn shops or something like that. oh, and we did buy in a few used mics while I was there. I know a B.L.U.E....
