Re: Best Mini-Leslie Cab?

There was a company in the 70"s in NY called "Lorio"(?). I found one in my grandmothers basement 2 years ago. Sold it. It was just the horn, cool black steel box with a handle though. fun fun fun!

Re: Won a ECOPLATE reverb!

Make sure you put it in another room where no one will be walking by or turning the vacuum on etc. I just remember being a kid, and the clean up/intern kid at my dads studio as a child, and then being yelled at when I walked into the storage hallway to get my broom and mop.....being that they could ...

Re: burning reliable cd-r's

I second the taiyo's and the Plextor. Best combo. If you can not find the Taiyo's, and you need discs in a pinch TDK's disc's are quite reliable too.

Re: I've got $2000! Help me make a studio

Get over it ALL OF YOU! Listen man, you want to go mac, go mac. There was a suggestion on page 1 that you should buy a used Dual Proc G4, I will second that notion. Re: If you HAD to choose...

I have never used the C4's, however I love my matched set of Oktava's. It realy is worth the money to buy from the Sound Room. Tested, matched mics are the only way to go.

Re: which audio cards have ADAT lightpipe?

A truly Quality interface for you that runs with ASIO drivers, has lightpipe, and great pre's would be the Metric-halo 2882+DSP. It costs more, but it is truly more useable, and sounds better than anything else out there.
