Re: SE Reflexion Filter
http://www.seelectronics.com/rf.html Interesting idea... a tad overpriced, and doesn't deal with front-of-mic issues, but interesting. A number of reviews I've read say the RF works best with some type of sound absorbtion behind the singer ie for a low budget home studio situation, a bedspread or t...

Nice looking desk, homestudioguy! What did you use to ebonize and finish the top, or did you do formica? I like your design as far as desk space goes, because I do not seem to ever have enough, and the monitor stand was a great idea that you seem to have implemented quite well. Thanks for sharing y...

Nice work. I wish there were more articles and web pages devoted to the Carptentry of Recording. I'm so useless when it comes to woodworking, but I have so many things that I want to build. Give us the step by step if you can. Tell us how you knew how to construct it. Did you copy another design? D...

How about a flywheel!
I shared my Gold's Gym weights idea on another forum and "met" a guy who used a Flywheel from a Jaguar motor car for a stand weight! Those suckers are really big! FYI-I wrote to Atlas Sound and suggested the create a replacement 10-15 pound stand base for their standard mic stands. No Reply ...

Re: Audio-Technica PRO 37 Small Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser
I'm looking into buying an SDC, and $100 seems a reasonable price. Anyone know of any reason I should stray from this mic? A lot of people use this (Audio-Technica PRO 37) as a go to for a small condensor. I mean a lot! FYI, I just bought the sE Electronics SE3 small condensor but they are running ...
