I have some outboard pre-amps that I have racked up and I am in the market to get a stand alone phantom power supply.

Here is my question. Is there a difference in phantom power providers?
If I get a cheap supply, will it effect the performance of my mic?

Build Ethan's basetraps. This will help a lot. I have a larger set up of your studio. The traps make a world of difference. Put some on the ceiling as well.

I just built some traps for my basement and the difference is AMAZING. Use a spray adhesive to adhere the fabric.
