I got a chance to listen to it at the TapeOp convention. IMO It has a very unnatural sound. It might be cool on drums or guitar but it made my voice sound like a radio DJ and not in an NPR kind of way.

Record away! I've gone over tapes three or four times before. I cant hear a difference.

Sorry, I didn't read the DSP16 part. The printing highs only works for tape.
