Hit up a Craigslist contact, some yard sales, and a swap meet today. Craigslist landed me a mid 60's Gibson GA-15RVT (that's a small tube amp w/reverb and tremolo), and a MINTY Kent M20 crystal bullet mic. Amp needs some love but I bought it cheap enough to get it worked on. http://farm9.staticflick...

60's/70's Cameo Deluxe guitar. $30 off Craigslist. Electronics need some love (only the neck pickup is coming through at the moment) and it's missing the wang bar, but the super-thick ultra-V shaped neck, Teisco-y pups and smaller size are already proving themselves fun. Missed a mid-70's Rogers 4-p...

I know I haven't posted in this thread in 6 years, but I still think the Radio Shack EQ is the most vital part of my studio. I didn't even know you were posting on this board anymore... or still doing music for that matter? Glad to hear it if you are. Also... christ, this thread is still going? I d...

After months of deliberation and penny-pinching, I opted for a MOTU 828mk3 Hybrid as my new interface. Been too busy to really put it fully through it's paces since I got it, but for what I have done with it so far, it seems a great piece of kit. I'll be using it into Logic Pro on my new Macbook Pro...

This is really, really solid stuff. If our local indie station started playing this stuff, I'd be stoked every time I heard it come on. Nicely done. I find the vocals reminiscent of some of my very favorite indie acts of days past, and I love the fuzzy bits. Do you guys tour? Please let me know if y...

To the OP: MOST EXCELLENT BLOG. You literally just made my whole day with it. I am totally that guy who always wants to know what people are using, down to the little nitty-gritties. Please keep it up! I played with a guy who had two gigantic pedal boards. He played a Balalaika. If I went somewhere ...
