Wave editor for OSX?

I have been using Adobe Audition (aka Cool edit pro) on my windows machine to make samples for my Roland sp-808 sampler- however I now do almost everything on my Mac. I am looking for wave editor similar to cool edit (or the competant shareware goldwave) for the mac os. The wave editor in DP just is...

Might be worth it to get these, and build these out of them:

Re: Behringer Mixers

aka - you get what you pay for. Unfortunately the power supplies on these boards are skimpy - they use the cheapest components they can find to cut costs. I have seen the filter caps explode like missles coming out of a silo - bad solder joints, terrible feeling pots, faders get real dirty real fast...

Re: useful first diy projects

OK - I will try my best to answer these last 3 questions - someone feel free to correct me if I am mistaken. 1 - single pole switch will have 2 contacts - there is the ground (through) and the hot (interupted) Single double pole probably means 4 contacts, 2 through and 2 interupted on the same switc...

Re: Roland Juno-106 For sale... Logo's a bit faded, like new

I had that same exact reaction - but once I learned about the screws coming loose on the inside (shake the one at guitar center) I was shocked. Loose screws in electronic equipment lead to the death of the equipment - if one of those screws comes loose and shorts the power supply, or those sensitive...

Wait! Don't do it! Make sure to read the reviews of the K-station before you buy it - there are plenty online at Harmony central, etc... I was going to buy one of these until I read the reviews. They were enough to change my already made up mind, then I went with the Virus, and I have not looked bac...

Re: Free Mac VSTi Player (OS X/OS 9)

Sweet - I snagged the tapper - I have been looking for something like that (my sampler has one, but this is a little more convenient) If there was only a way to get it to change the midi clock... Thanks - Tim

Re: DIGI 001 AND EMAC

I agree - go the motu route. I can not speak fondly enough of DP - if you are using synths and samplers, this is the way to go, since the Midi and VST instruments (once you get the wrapper program) are right there in the program. You can get an 828 on ebay right now for real cheap, and they sound gr...
