I agree with farside!

And since my car has nothing but cassette right now -- and Music fucking Millenium has no Sabbath but the tapes I bought!!! -- I can't vouch for Ronnie James.

Master of Reality!!!

Don't be afraid to approach the local music student population, or to set your sights on a more grassroots scene. In the long run, everyone knows each other in the classical world. So you're likely to have lifelong clients if you can ingratiate yourself with other career lifers...

Anyone have any additions to make?

I saw Adam and Tool at Coachella in CA. What a show. I can still feel the double kick!

Re: live remote mix help

Why not record the board mix, and the matrix and stereo signals? Does your board have direct outputs? Then you could have more dry signal overall.

Re: Soundcraft Repair in Seattle??

Well, they probably made the error cause they are SO HUGE!

There's a great guy out in Redmond, if he's still there, who runs JFH Electronics. I believe that's the name of the company. Really good tech support.

Re: Spray Adhesive for Foam - Alternatives

I have some great little baffles from the old Bad Animals, and they are just a chunk of fiberglass with some dense foam adhered to it, wrapped in heavy duty pink fabric. Throw them anywhere.

Actually, I am going to turn them into a cloud someday...

Re: Spray Adhesive for Foam - Alternatives

In my new room I adhered all my foam with heavy duty poster pins. They are about two and a half inches long and can hold up to 20 lbs each, I believe...it took 4 to 5 for each piece, but at least I can move stuff around if I want...
