I'd use the tape sends/returns. They're designed to tie to a multitrack machine, and don't really know or care about analog vs digital. The sends should be copies of the subgroup outs. The returns lead the the smaller channels in the subgroup strips, and should also be normaled to the line inputs. ...

Help setting up analog mixer with interface?
Hey guys, I just got a Trident 65 desk that I'm in the middle of setting up. I'm going to be running it into both a tape machine (which is simpler and I have figured out) but also to my Echo Audiofire interface which I'm not sure of the best way to configure. I was thinking to go Group Outs on the T...

Help with live sound in a tiny room
So I put on shows at my house sometimes, and last time it was mostly just drumless music, and sounded fine in the room. Last night we had 4 fairly loud rock bands and it was just too much and people couldn't really hear the vocals, they were at their limit before feeding back. I'm not really much of...

Can someone help identify this foam?
I think it's some sort of mattress foam, but not really sure. Someone gave it to me and I took it on the chance that it's useful. If not I'll probably throw it out. Any ideas? At the very least, answering the question "what do they sound like in the room?" is as good a place to start as any. this is a good point. I guess I'm trying to reconcile what it sounds like in the room with what I'm trying to listen for. Sometimes to me it 'sounds good in the room' and then when I...

Cool this is kinda what I was looking for. I downloaded a few of them and can hear differences in my recordings vs theirs. Now to figure out how they got them that way...LupineSound wrote:http://www.reddit.com/r/SongStems/

Can someone show me what a good drum recording sounds like?
Just looking for a wave file or mp3 of solo drums that sound professional and good. I'm just after something to compare to my own drum sound, to hear where it should be at.
thanks
