Age 71 died last night.
I got to hang out with him backstage at a show he sat in with the band that went on before we did and we got to talk for about 15 minutes. Really sweet guy

It's a little hard to Google "george martin book" without getting all the Games and/or Thrones stuff.
Not all by George, but kind of a collection of topics from his friends/coworkers...
Got a copy today thanks

Immense contribution.

He made an immense contribution to the success of the beatles. Listen to I am the Walrus without all the extras and get an understanding of his genius. RIP

That's the kind of thing that should get brought up in the Amazon.com review IMHO. I would guess that the author relies on autocorrect and or their editor isn't from the industry so they wouldn't know any better. Probably right , These were obvious to me but not to a book editor who isn't a music h...

Erors in Howard Massey's book.

"The Great British recording studios." Great Book lots of excellent information but a whole pile of errors. I wonder who edited this? No one is listed as editor but it's none the less weak that they made so many mistakes. For example: Paul Kossoff ex bass player for Free "Here's a picture of Nellcot...

cloud

Some days it seems like that.. ha ha
Yes I've had a cloud up there for a few years.
I'm thinking about adding a couple of more. We just angled it back a little that made it better. Now I want one directly above and another behind that like at my friend's mastering studio

Your Intel is likely leaps and bounds faster than your PPC, but if you don't use the PPC for mixing, just with tracking HD3, you're probably fine. My business partner still uses an old G5 w HD3 and it still is flawless for tracking....it is pretty slow booting and loading sessions, and it is annoyi...

We have a similar computer at CTS and it runs PT 10 perfectly with the HD2 card. Your cards will work in this rig right? no I'd have to get new Digi cards mine are all PCIx [the larger footprint] That's not a big deal cost wise they seem to be going for a few hundred for the core card and about the...

It has 6GB ram and I know I can go up to 32 on th...
