I'm no tech, but, what about your monitors, are they powered or do you have separate amp? What is the level you have on the amp (if using one)? Do you hear this same "noise, hiss", in your headphones?

Yeah, I haven't used the C-03, but what John said, about the toslink and ligthpipe being different, is right! I found out because I'm trying to find a Adat lightpipe splitter and thought the Hosa 0Y-314 would work, the optical toslink and the lightpipe is not compatiable!......Bummer! :shock: :evil:...
