I've been using a Sennheiser 602 on the inside about 8 inches from the head with an earthworks kickpad on that (works great).

On the outside I use a Yamaha subkick which is great for the low low freqs.

I fixed it by going to the audio regions menu and selecting "recreate audio waveforms" or something like that. I'm not in front of my DAW right now. Fixed the problem.. It just seems weird that it's happening often...

I'm running pro tools 6.9.2 tdm and have recently run into a problem when recording. Sometimes when I record the waveform is missing. The audio is definitely there on playback but doesn't show up on the screen unless I zoom in, then it suddenly appears. When I zoom back out, it's gone again. Anyone ...

Fishing line wasn't working out for me too well so I went and bought some Jute twine. Worked great. And it even matches my burlap

i did this last night with a paint can and a soildering tool. Heating it up and went around the can. worked great.

I used 2000lb test metal fishing line and eye hooks..a bit overkill..no wood slats just the line holding up the panels..they are one or two inces off the ceiling..great results when used over the drum kit..makes the ceiling sort of dissapear.. Any pics of this? I'd like to avoid the wood slats but ...
