Check out what's written about the first Wilbury's record, which was also recorded at Bob's home studio. That might give you some insight. If I remember correctly, it was a a shambles when Lynne/Harrison and company arrived, but they got it working.

Sorting through the takes from last week's tracking sessions. So far, still sounds good.

A drag that they can't bundle the stereo and mono versions on one CD, like they w/ the american LP reissues, but I'm glad they finally got around to this.
