somewhere there will be a place to select MIDI and audio inputs that Nuendo will universally look for... prefrences/audio? some sort of global command center... you gotta tell the program the inputs are there before it can use 'em... may only show up as 4 L/R pairs, but that's what you need to "arm"...

All 8 channels are line-level on the Firepod... the line-ins for 1-2 are on the back, 3-8 are on the front.

hey artifex, i didnt realized the first time i took a look at a picture of the back of the FireStudio but it does have inserts for channels 1 and 2. if those inserts behave like the inserts on the Digimax FS then you should just be able to plug into the insert return and bypass the pres/line amps g...

I've come across these two, read some reviews, but I want to know if anyone here loves/hates/is indifferent to either of these units or maybe knows of any other piece ...
