Yes - If you can get Bias (Peak) to actually stay open long enough to finish anything. Sorry - Had to say it. Nothing but trouble and nothing [/b] for customer service. Would've been better to just burn the money - At least it would've been my own fault. But no doubt - The new (insane) price for Wav...

The rules are the same - Do what best serves the mix and leave the volume to the mastering guy. Especially with vinyl. Keep rumble and sibilance down to a minimum, try to keep and anchor in the middle with the lows and keep them from the side information, etc. Nothing that you usually wouldn't do fo...

Eh... Don't get me wrong - I should get a commission from Crane Song AFAIK. But the ADCD is... I mean, it's not "bad" -- But it didn't blow my mind (like everything else they produce does). For $27, you should have it. But how much you use it will be dictated by how much trouble you want to go throu...

In my case, I'm using a Sterling Modular desk -- It's definitely "there" but about as acoustically transparent as a desk can be. It's a "skeleton" - The gear inside probably has a bigger impact than the desk. Anyway -- All the speakers (including woofs) are in "line of sight" -- And sure, any reflec...

A) There's no reason not to fade individual elements as they fall out of the mix. If there's a long cymbal decay that goes past the end of everything, everything else should be faded at the track level. B) Same with the beginning, IMO. If there's a track that starts the song (guitar intro) then havi...

"Cheap" and "tube" in one sentence almost invariably leads to "crap" in the next. And as mentioned, tubes have nothing to do with "warming up sound" (no matter what the current marketing hype might say). Look at your input chain first - Not that there's a quick or cheap fix to that either -- But mos...
