FS: Earthworks Sigma 6.2 monitors
Earthworks Sigma 6.2 monitors These are amazing time-coherent reference monitors that simply make mixing a sheer pleasure. Incredibly accurate, non-fatiguing and just plain fun to listen to. I have used these in my mixing rig and my home stereo listening system with equally great results. They are ...

Microphone cables
I've got a bunch of microphone cables up for sale. The inventory is listed below. All of the ProCo cables are mid-level quality - labelled as DynaMike 224S on the cable with decent Neutrik connectors. The two 50 foot cables are, however, a budget line ProCo model. The cables are all well taken care ...

Yeah, we're not talking fragile ribbon here, I heard an SM7 choking on the SPL. This damn amp was so loud that you couldn't even hear a kick drum while it was playing. I've recorded Ampeg SVT's cranked pretty high, louder Orange heads through 4x12's nothing sounded like this damn amp. It was trying...

A lot of folks will bring up the fact that the person paying you is the decision maker so, ultimately, you've just gotta do what they say. I do think this is true to a large degree, but not necessarily an absolute. If a plumber, drain cleaner, electrician, roofer, accountant, etc. just does what the...

I happened to think about this thread when I was reading one of those Yahoo news soundbite articles that was detailing the story of a guy who bought a box of old glass negatives at a salvage shop, which ultimately have been authenticated as original Ansel Adams photographs. There is some dispute ove...

I myself have taken pictures of mountains and they are very forgettable. I bet it was because I was in a moving vehicle with a bunch of musicians. Yeah, I was thinking that I took a bit of an issue with your profs comments about the amazing scenery that Ansel Adams photographed...implying that anyo...

I had one of these, and thought it was a nice device for the money. That being said, I felt the headphone amps did not have the clarity, headroom or general SQ of the lowly Presonus HP4 heaphone amp. In theory, it is likely the "same" headphone amp in there, but i sure didn't think this was the case...

FS: Misc. accessories - headphones, adaptors, mounts, cables
I have a variety of accessories available: (2) Shure A15LA line input adaptors / 50db attenuator $20/pc. These are pretty handy adaptors. From the Shure website: ?The Shure A15LA 50 dB attenuator reduces the level of an audio signal by 50dB. This allows a line level output such as an aux level outpu...
