is she 'looking up' at the mic?

some of this stuff will go away when a person's head is tilted downward (throat stuff...not lip stuff)

I've used the Waves X noise d-click to remove some lip stuff really fast

Glyn Johns method is a pretty good way to start. If you aren't close micing toms I'd suggest coated Emporor heads. Works better for me in that situation. mono ribbon room mic 3 times the distance of your overheads to the snare placed sideways should be in phase with the OH's. Sideways and compressed...

two things I've found. 1. You can make money in a recording studio not on a recording studio. 2. You can never screw yourself by doing a great job. i just tried to check out your website.. thought you might want to know that neither your jukebox nor your myspace are working. ****thanks. the only th...

95% of these kind of problems will reveal themselves during proper pre production.
Pre production should include at least these things....

1. meeting with the band
2. seeing the band live
3. hearing some rough demos
4. going to a rehearsal

I can't stress the importance the MEETING.

Tickets were issued for this incident which is a rarity for NYC.

Its a drag that they call it an accident.
Opening a door into traffic without looking is against the law in NYC.
