You could definitely put together a modular synth roughly equivalent to the minimoog for a reasonable (well, minimoog-level) amount of dough. The real expense comes from crazy new sound-mangling possibilites that you just...can't...resist...

Tried it on iPad and on FF/Win7. Looks great, but animations are all choppy.

Love your rolling cart!

Nothing wrong with chopping a 206, this is a pointless argument. 100% of the character of the instrument is preserved. If anybody wants my speaker cab, come and get it, and you can turn your 200 into an unwieldy monster. One thing I would suggest (without watching the vids), while you have the thing...

Frac Rack is the way to go if you want to build stuff yourself...very sturdy, everything comes in kits or fully assembled...the cases are easy to get into from behind for custom work. I have a combined Frac/Euro system at home. MFOS has tons of schems and PCB's...there's also Oakley, Elby, a few oth...

SilenX fans

Just a tip for quieting your computer--replace the case fans with the super-quiet ones manufactured by SilenX. $10-20 apiece and they are dead quiet. I recently turned my Dell Vostro 200 Slim Tower into my music computer, and these fans have almost totally gotten rid of fan noise, even with a conden...

The music condensed with skilled use of instruments and melody. With an expert level in electronic programming they relate frame of mind to the songs. ?Our songs are melancholy and emotive because this way it is as we have always liked that it was music to that we have listened. I want to say that ...

Well, there will be ample tablets in the near future that will run Reaper. There are some now, though not pure tablet devices. Personally, I think it would be something of a pain...I use the keyboard and mouse constantly and want a large screen. I do think Apple's limitations will mean that the iPad...

I don't think that is a manifesto the world needs. The existence of the iPad will not cause all the Linux notebooks in the world to suddenlty self-destruct--you can have all the open sourceness you want. Plus, the iPod and iPad will both run DRM-free content as smoothly and easily as any other platf...
