yeah i think an 8 track + an 8 I/O digital rig is a great setup. fill up the 8 track, dump to the comp, do some overdubs/editing, mix through an analog console using plugins and outboard.

I don't know. I think this is just the "Virgin Mary effect" where everybody says that someone else said they saw or heard something that they may or may not have seen or heard.
