Das Krapital

it just seems like a double standard when people enjoy the freedoms and liberties of a capitalist free society, Capitalism is an ECONOMIC system. It has nothing to do with freedom or liberties - in fact in many ways its their natural enemy in that it requires a servile/ignorant class to exploit in ...

You've got to have it all in your head before you can get it out... Thats very true for the most part. And I always know the general direction a song is gonna go when I start recording. However, I leave myself open to trying things out as they come to me. Invariably, I will come up with new parts o...

Easily one of the most important pieces of software in my arsenal. I write and record my own 60s-influenced indie pop so you know I get ALOT of use out of it. I also have the Mello-T refill for Reason which is really good too. Its made up of patches so they have some combinations and I find myself u...

They also make a 72 Tele Thinline which is the one with 2 humbuckers and F-Hole... I've seen a bunch of people playing them lately... Fender has reissued them and you can get one for like 600 bucks... Sweet guitars. They also reissued the 1969 Thinline. After many years, Fender finally got their hea...

Recently: Gold - Ryan Adams Rainy Day Music - Jayhawks (very clean, crisp acoustic sound) Let's Get Out Of This Country - Camera Obscura (a nod to my own style: reverb and organ ;) Summerteeth - Wilco (though not a fan of the hyper-limiting done in the mastering - but the songs and mixes are great) ...
