anyone using both MOTU 828 mk1 + mk2
to anyone that has both a MOTU 828 mk1 and an mk2, do you have any issues at all with using them simultaneously from one application in xp?
i have a mk2 and i'll like to add some cheap channels but i'd rather bypass the disappointment if there will be any.
thanks,
steven

if there was never a plan to get rid of the CV then how about both? it would be incredibly convenient to have a dedicated midi in for each of the modules! for what? the cost of a din socket, some passives and an opto? if the code will fit then why not, if someone doesn?t want it then they could just...

I will definitely have kits with at least a PCB and the more awkward parts like high resolution rotary encoders. very @$%ing cool to offer pcbs. is there anything really odd that we should be trying to find in the mean time. like the atari chip? also any chance at having a 1v/o pass thru of the mid...

andy i don?t know if you should start hunting for one just so you can fix it : ) but if it has the speed issue then it would more then likely be this simple to fix, good luck as far as i know yes the contents of electrolytic caps age even with periods of none use. maybe someone can confirm this? i h...

how to repair your TASCAM 122mkii speed issue
i finally took a second to try an idea i had to fix the speed issue that plagues the TASCAM 122mkii and it worked! its just a quick write up to explain that you need to recap the PWM board. its fairly simple and it will only cost about a $1 in parts as opposed to the $80+ that tascam wants for a new...

i never did figure out what that stuff was. i'd say in your case just introduce a lot of movable reflective surfaces, like sheets of hard wood or whatever you can find and then angle them, your speakers and your mics until they sound good. maybe toss in some absorbers to help control them. cheap and...

no not like that, guess i wasn't paying attention. sleep the simplest way i can think to do it would be to have one stage for the 15 to 0 conversion and another for the 0 to 15. all on the same chip and then just stuff it all in a box with 4 jacks ( 2 pairs of ins and outs) and power for the "input ...

just rig up an inverter. you can use a CD40106. it could not be simpler, which is probably why you can't find anything. just power the chip to 15v add a 10u (or larger) cap and a 100n cap between the power rails and just run your trigger into and out of one single stage and your done. but make sure ...

i use this one, the waterproof vinyl. i don't have a color laser so i just use the inkjet. then i cut out whatever and coat it with a spray lacquer to keep it from being scratched. its not perfect but if you aren't really aggressive with it should last forever http://papilio.com/inkjet%20waterproof%...
