When I was a kid (7th grade?) I had a "band" will some school chums. One of them (the infamous Troy Taroy) brought over a reel-to-reel deck with the fascinating option of recording one track at a time. To me at the time, that was mind-boggling.

If THAT's worth seeing again, we should probably all revist...
