FS: 24-channel, 8-bus analog mixer in COLUMBUS, OHIO: $500
hi! first off, i do NOT want to ship this thing, it is a beast. it would likely cost you half as much as i'm asking to get it shipped to you, so i have to ask that you come pick this up in COLUMBUS, OHIO. it is $500, which is a pretty decent price, because i do not want to have to ship it. i am not ...

FS: Spring reverbs, misc, etc.
All this equipment is in good cosmetic shape and 100% working condition. This is pretty old stuff, so the finish isn't shiny and they have a little bit of rack rash... but look like they've been taken care of. Paypal preferred, email questions to spam@toothpastefordinner.com. Biamp dual spring rever...

Re: line 6 modeling guitar? yech??
i think the problem with that sort of thing is that hardly anyone's willing to drop a thousand bucks on something that has great potential to sound like a yamaha portasound playing a "distorted guitar" patch... ...but, practically, even though it might not sound like a sitar player playing a sitar, ...

Re: About the earlier issues
i have bought back issues of tape op before and i gotta say... you could do worse than to spend a few extra bucks on tape op issues. at least from my perspective. i get excited about recording stuff every time i read a new (or old) issue and it mentions something i've never tried before. the reviews...

FS: Tascam 1/2" 8-track, w/1 reel of tape
Hi! I have a near-mint-condition Tascam TSR-8 for sale. It's had just a little bit of use (I'd say 200 hours, approx... bought it from the guy who bought it new, used it a bit, then didn't use it at all...) and is in fantastic shape. The heads are beautiful and the unit is both physically and sonica...

Re: stapes vs. the ghetto army
this is slightly off topic, but i have an oktava 012, and i find i can hardly use it on anything! it sounds so crispy, so brittle, so sibilant, it hurts my ears sometimes. whenever i try to EQ it, it just turns to crap. oh well, i guess for $100 you don't get much, do you? :) now, i saw some kind of...
