so i took the transformer out of one of my other 57's and did a little shoot out between a stock 57, the modded one, and the fake one. i also put the 57 transformer in the fake one to see how that did. the fake one really just sounds pretty awful (on distorted guitar) but i think i'll end up keeping...

well like i said, she bought it at a music store new in the box and paid full retail price for it.

Excellent. When you use it with the 4 track app, can you still have earphones plugged in? Where does the input adaptor plug into? Sorry about all the sentences ending with prepositions. damn, you know i didn't even think about that. i suppose if you plug a headphone splitter cable into the peterson...

i got the other day, and have since tested it on my guitars with active and passive pickups and my bass and it works great! i also used it to record some clean guitar through the four track app, if anyone has that one as well. only tried that one with passive so far, haven't gotten around to active ...
