check mpshows.com for the side of the rock world that showers less frequently than the rest. they book quite a few venues in the area.

To clarify a bit:

the 2 smaller speakers would come in at $500 and the single larger cab would be $400. Both are good quality barely used cabs. I was going to get the pair when I noticed the larger one and was wondering if I could save money and get the same result.

Q: PA for Rock Practice

which would work better as a rock band practice PA, as I have two options to go with: One speaker cabinet with 2 x 15" woofers, a horn, and another 6" midrange speaker or Two speaker cabinets that each have 1 x 12" woofer, a horn, and another 6" midrange speaker I don't have much experience here as ...

my amp is all about clean tones. If you're going for clean tones why don't you just turn it down? well, this process started with a new cabinet. the cab is a 2x12 with 2 Celestion Vintage 30s rated at 120 watts RMS. There is barely a word out there about my amp but people have said that it's up to ...

i had looked into getting one but my amp is all about clean tones. i'm not trying to get saturated, just use less power/volume. my logic is: why run extra tubes if i don't need to. if i can just take out tubes then i'll also save $300.

Running guitar amps with fewer tubes than they use

Hey all..... just something i've heard about and thought you'd all have some good info. I've got an ampeg V5 guitar amp that varying accounts rate at between 120-150 watts. yes. it is very very loud. i could probably throw in a few more 'very very very's too. over the years i have heard of people ta...

a Good Question per the Epi Valve Jr:

i was going to shy away because everyone seems to have one now. should i follow this logic (i tend to avoid fads) or are they far and away the best you can get for your money?

for $200 i might have to try out that fender. i would love to rip it out and build it's own head enclosure. i have been thinking about the guytronix 8-watter but i'd have to have it built for me. i would love to be a diy guy but things never work out for me. i try to stick to what i'm good at: music...

I guess my first question is WHY do you want a low watt amp as such? What will you be using it for, what's your goals? all of my amps are high powered (50-150watts) and i'm looking to get something to record at reasonable volumes. I have a fair bit of knowledge of the 15-30 watt amps out there but ...

Super Low-Wattage Tube amps, let's discuss

i've had no luck using the fucking search engine, plus i temporarily don't have access to any high speed interweb. thus frustrating my own virtual shopping. i'm on the hunt for super low wattage tube amp, no frills neccessary. something in the way of a 1/2 watt - 2 watts. some Q's about these type t...

Slowing/Speeding up Tempo but not key in PTools LE?

Is there an easy way to do time stretches in PTLE on a mac? I'm running PTLE 6.4 on OSX 10.3.4.

came up empty on searches.

just have the front page say nothing but "404 file not found" but have a hidden link somewhere to actually enter or a generic "under construction" page.

running high power amp at low volumes

any danger in running a high wattage amp at low volumes? short tube life? just wanna know because i had some money saved up for a nice low wattage practice amp when i stumbled accross an old 150 watt ampeg that happens to sound just as nice at 1 as it does blowing down houses.
