so i got a chance to use the solid tube this weekend. my thoughts: sounds great on ac gtr! placed it about a foot back from the 12th fret and presto. mixed well with the track. wasnt meant to be a focal point, just another texture, and it fit perfectly. sounded really good on female vocs. not very "...

Not to be pedantic (actually, yeah, I guess I am), but regarding your title - drumsound (one word) is our venerable Tape Op moderator, and I cringe at the thought of vocal bleed actually destroying him. He's my only local source for borrowing at4047's, so let's keep him among the living. i will kee...

when some friends of mine moved out of a place that had been the local "party" house for 15 years, i was told i could raid the basement and take what i wanted. i got a wurlitzer, a fender jazz bass, a 58, a busted up crate amp, and a fender practice amp. the wurlitzer was obviously the best score. :...

you might call me crazy, but for the last three years i have gotten a 0% interest credit card in january and dumped a bunch of gear on it. i keep my fingers crossed that it will work out, then everypenny i make in the studio goes to pay it off. if i have a balance left over at the end of the year, i...

im not sure about the fort reno time?

ive actually ended my tenure with the hard tomorrows in order to pursue more studio work. it was getting to be really "hard" (ehh) to schedule studio time around practice and shows.
very amicable split though, they are great guys and good friends.
