i always thought the music soundtrack to the first dirty harry movie was quite amusing! (done by lalo schifrin i believe- and speaking of him, thought the movie is questionable, his score to the amityville horror was kind of freaky)

i can hear the thousands of edits on that album- like jams from different periods of time put together- 'lets take elements of what was great about all our albums and chop them together'! as for drum sounds- indeed- krap! even people i know who have zero interest in sound or never bother to pay atte...

i use one of those super cheap little suction cup microphones from radio shack- goes to a wire and an 1/8th inch mono mini jack. although they're meant to stick more to old school phones, i just use an elastic to hold it there, and adjust the volume of the phone to balance the interviewee's voice ou...
