I'd work with a broker, as roscoenyc said. I'd also make sure that it is absolutely positively zoned where it is legal for you to live/work there, otherwise you could be in for a world of suckage.

Have you tried plugging into all of the 4 outputs of the SR-16? If you have certain drums panned to certain sides, and assigned to certain outputs, that all can affect vol levels.

Maybe you could run the Copperphone through a little guitar amp, and mic that up. Then you could position the amp for optimum vol vs. feedback.

I have a couple of A Designs ATTYs that work great. There's also the Shure inline barrel attenuators.

I prefer seperate outs (at least for kick & snare) when using drum machines. It's listed in the manual how to do this.

regarding avatars, in firefox, on a PC they are fine, though when the page is loading, occasioanally an avatar or two will be jumbo, then the page parses the img tags size and shrinks it to 100x100 or whatevers. What browsers are you guys using that the avatars are out of hand on? I am just curious...

Really? Some avatars (yours included), are gigantic on my screen. Not trying to be a jerk about it, but it totally warps my screen.

I'd email API and ask them. That's probably your best shot. Maybe someone at Mercenary...???

List your Facebook page

The "List your Myspace page" thread did pretty well. Let's all add each other's Facebook pages as well. I finally just got around to making one.

The 184's are not going to sound transparent. They are a brighter sounding mic.
