My New Site for Mix Critiques

I have a new site called MixCritiques.com

You can post a mix you are working on so that you can get an outside perspective. It's brand new, and so I don't have a lot of members yet, but I thought I'd throw it out there regardless. BTW: it's totally free.

Very Unique Website

I think you all could appreciate my website. The section I am including with this post is to an archive of vintage recording and live sound history. There's also full audio engineering training on the site. http://www.soundinstruction.net/the-vintage-audio-portal-menu-page.html or you can visit www....

sorry if this has been answered already, but is the box metal or is the box well shielded? also, make sure you are using good cable connecting the fuzz to the thingamabob. also, what are you powering your fuzz with? another thought, could it be that your stringed thingamabob is the antenna? perhaps ...

hardware is way more fun, but if you are using hardware in the mix stage, then you have extra d/a - a/d conversions... now, what real effect it has on the overall sound, im not for sure, but my guess is that it wouldn't be positive (even with really great converters). this is of course assuming you ...

I've not the tools or confidence to do that, me, not sturdy enuff to be able to hold 12 pieces and the open-frame rack. I s'pose I could get my bro' to build one (he's a table saw and such), but I was thinking more like if someone had something good to say about the Samson SRK-12 or the Gator Cases...

I don't understand the point of this box. Insert cables aren't that expensive and with this box you need a TRS to TRS to feed it from the insert point and then a couple of mono cables or a stereo pair to connect whatever you're patching in. Seems easier to use an insert cable. hey, who cares if it ...

work slowly and methodically. get a game plan as to what you will tackle first. treat it as: break/fix. don't go replacing stuff because you can. this will keep it affordable (i know its a relative term). once you replace something (like the wiring harnesses), test from there and see what's left to ...
