Audio Technica Pro37r Humming
my beloved pro37 is humming like mad. anyone have any experience with this and what did you do?
i havent opened it up as of yet, but i have a ton of experience in electronics. rather than trace it out, im lazy and want a quick answer. might be the 22uf caps?
thanks -

The Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter satisfies my needs. I listened to demos of them all and it does different envelopes really well and stutters like anything. I got it because I miss the tremolo on the AC-15 I used to have, and I use the Shape Shifter for that and other things all the time now. I thi...

Just know that all New tubes, are made by Electroharmonix. They rebrand for different companies. They mfr. about 70-80% of the worlds tubes. JJ, Tesla, GT tubes, Fender OEM, Marshall OEM, and EHX, plus some others. A to older "rebranded" ones, I might suspect someone relabelling them to kake them w...

The 4041 is the most impressive bright mic I've used that's hella bright without being harsh or brittle, and talk about being fast fast fast at handling transient detail when it's amp'd properly.

ah, i love people who would rather throw money at a problem, instead of investigating their own short comings in achieving a desired sound. "it doesnt sound right! quick! somebody throw money at it!" i think this is a valid point. a decent plug-in comp will do most anything you need it to, and you ...
