i have had both and i think the onyx was beefier or something in low mids compared to a brighter upper mid in the digimax. which still seems to be less airy than the traveler. for me.

i love my digimax for the price. i would love to hear the difference between these and the octopre and OP LE and the other digimax pre's. any opinions would be swell. thanks

is there really nothing close to the quality of the rnc, in a similar price range? DBX Presonus ART etc.??? would it be wiser to get some other flavors of comp. or just a bunch of the rncs? Thanks for your opinion
