Joel - I actually saw you for a second at the Chandler booth on Saturday, but you sped off before I had a chance to say "hi". That Germ comp is really nice!

Anyway, here are my pics from AES: http://www.darkvisionmedia.org/AES2007 (forwards you to my Flickr acccount).

I don't know if it's the same on the 60, but my Juno-6 has an output switch for High, Medium, and Low, which scales the output volume. You should be able to get it to work with a guitar amp fine with that.

A lot of clients get screwed up on the little limiter that's built into the personal mixer, too. It does kinda blend in. We had a guitarist who kept turning the limiter knob up thinking it was a channel volume (the label we stuck on there above the knob confused him). Haven't had a mixer go down ye...

Re: your experience with the hearback

A band I play in has an endorsement thing with Hear Tech and we use the Hearback and Mixback live. We have that four-pack, and it's really freaking cool. It works great, signal is clear, and it's easy to use on a dark stage. We labeled all the knobs with one of those Brother labelers. Setup is easy ...

Thanks again for taking the time to answer these questions!

The only other question I have is when you say the Bova was "aimed" at the floor tom, do you mean pointing down at the head, or pointing over/across the top of it?

I didnt say anything about a second record or not.... just keeping two of the people out of the room at the same time... still totally possible that a second record will happen... I honestly dont know. Well I hope it does happen. It's definitely one of my favorite albums bought this year! The whole...

Yeah, it was. Both parties involved in the "fallout" were both incredibly cool towards me though, at all times, and we remain very good pals. The two of them cant be in the same room though... heavy vibe when that would happen. I just had to keep them separated and everything was cool that way. Sou...

I recently picked this album up and had to bump this thread to give it some love. Fantastic stuff - and I freaking love the drums sounds.

Any other info you can give us about this recording would be smashing, Joel. Thanks!
