FS: API 512C and 525C
I just purchased a lunchbox and I'm moving some stuff to make room for other stuff. The units were barely used when I got them and I've only used them for a few hours. These things are mint. Photos available on request. 512C $700 shipped. 525C $900 shipped. Call 314-780-0493 or email brian@firebrand...

AKG C451E bodies, A51 swivel, Red R4 Capsule for C451
Hello, I'm entertaining trade offers on this stuff before it finds its way to Ebay. Here's what I have: AKG C451E bodies only (x4) Nr3913, Nr16525, Nr17227, Nr19848. They are silver. All are in good shape although there's a sticker on one and engraved initials on another. I can provide photos on req...

You would only be flipping polarity on playback. If you want to flip polarity and record it that way, you'd have to flip it prior to the signal hitting Pro Tools. Actually, I suppose if you really wanted to, you could have all your inputs assigned to busses with trim plugs on them and the output of ...

I have a pair of C451Es that I'm selling if you're interested. It's bodies only, though. Drop me a PM if you're interested at all. That said... These are indeed workhorse mics. The Blue capsules are awfully nice and there are a number of cardioid flavors available there. Here's a link to those: http...

I like the D112 on bass cabs more than a 52. The 52 has such a crazy sculpted frequency response that it can really alter what you're hearing coming out of the cab. The D112 has some dips and peaks as well, but they're less obtrusive. All that said, I use a Beyer M380 a lot and I like a 4033 if I'm ...

Looking for clips for AKG c451
Does anyone know anywhere to buy clips that'll hold the AKG c451? I have a bunch of bodies and very few clips.

Bouncing will take considerably more time and attention than consolidating tracks. Unless you're bouncing through plug-ins, I see no reason to do anything other than consolidate the tracks. As long as your session was recorded using a file type that the new platform supports, you should have zero co...

I'm certainly not claiming that the Mackies are ruler flat. No monitor is going to be that even in frequency response. You'd have to design a set of monitors around a room and spend a good deal of money in order approach anything like flat. I'm speaking in relative terms. The Mackies sound more flat...

Give me your fiftieth of a dollar kind sirs and ma'ams
I wanted to get a few other sets of ears in on a mix I'm working on.
This track feels like it needs some work. The kick is a little weird and I'm wondering about the low end in general. I feel like this one is pretty much there, but I'd like to get some feedback.
Thanks for looking.
