Yeah I need to get over there. I figured out that the tape tensioner thingie (that's the technical term :shock: ) the first pulley that the tape goes around accuates the motors, so if the reel isn't pulling that tensioner upwards it will not start. If I lift it up it works fine and will continue to ...

Brian, question about my Studer A807

What does it mean if, when I power up my Studer, I have to spin the reels manually to get it going. As soon as I do this it's fine until the next time i turn it off
