your music

Well I listened to both songs and enjoyed the recordings. I think the second song sounds much fuller. Definitely do to the arrangement no doubt but it sure sounds like the 12ay7's gave a nice clarity to the song. What parts was it used on? Regarding the first song, was it all recorded with the firep...

Funny you should mention cardboard boxes. I did a song where originally I used a Adrenalinn as the click track and the fine members here in tapeopland said get rid of that shit and do something, anything other than a preprogrammed drum loop. So here is what I did: Go to my dumpy little myspace page ...

I agree about maybe a touch more touch in the low end for the drums. But damn, I love the way this song feels! The painful vocals and neat simple arrangement make it timeless.

Looking forward to more,

Cheers to you Walter. Looking forward to hearing tales on your move back east. I know the Calif feeling you speak of. Feels like the too many rats in a cage syndrome going on. Even in beautiful San Diego, the pressure to keep up has caused otherwise normal folk to go ballistic on each other. Patheti...

Walter, Is the song the thumpin on bass one? Dig the sheer hit record and go feeling! I read the story on the guitar and it is just plain amazing. I love to hear stories like this. It is what brings the music alive. Not just the notes but what it took just to get where the notes are even played. You...

Contact ATR and they could refer a tech for you. Have you also talked to Mike Kamoo over at Earthling? Might be a good ref.

Joel,

I have been enjoying the creot radio shows. About the only that kind of threw me was the Christmas show. Besides that I dig what I am hearing.

Y'all are fine folk.

I think everything sounds pretty darn good. About the only element I would experiment with would be the kick drum. It has a just slightly overbearing quality which kind of goes against the rest of the track. Now this is just nitpicking. I wouldn't even say much if I just heard this track but that is...

Cool! Thanks for the info Joel. I just destroyed a diaphragm on my Oktava 219 by mistake so I am going to reassemble it and see what kind of tone it puts out. I'll send you all a track when I reassemble. Since I can't afford a real optigan, what is your take on the plug in ones. Or was it only Mello...
